  • ICNA Matrimonial service would like to help Muslim families as marriage in Islam is highly recommended and considered a religious obligation and a sunnah of our prophet (SAW). Marriage is a Blessing and Mercy from Allah SWT.
  • Islamic guidelines to choose a spouse are based on the following four criteria:
    1. Lineage (Family roots)
    2. Beauty
    3. Status/Wealth
    4. Deen (Religious piety) and religious piety should be most favored.
    May Allah SWT help you in choosing the right spouse. Aameen!
  • ICNA requests everyone to provide accurate information and not conceal or misrepresent any pertinent information (e.g., previously married, divorced, children, country of origin, citizenship, etc.). ICNA does not take responsibility for any false / erroneous information provided by candidates. It is your responsibility to verify the information and background of other candidate on your own.
  • All timings are approximate and may be adjusted due to unavoidable circumstances. Please check with the on-site matrimonial service coordinator.

  • Women candidates must be accompanied by their WALI (parents/legal Guardian) at in the session and during badge pick up.
  • Only parents/legal guardian of the women candidate (no other relations) will be allowed during the session(s). Parents/guardians are requested not to interrupt the session. No proxies for absent candidates will be allowed.
  • Candidates must follow the Islamic dress code and observe the strict Islamic etiquettes.
  • Please do not insist on obtaining personal information from ICNA volunteer unless other candidate is willing to provide it.
  • Kindly understand that this is a community service that ICNA provides through its volunteers. An unruly candidate and his/her associates may be requested to leave the area or escorted out of the convention with the help of security personnel if they do not follow the instructions from the matrimonial program coordinators.

ICNA volunteers will do their best to help this great cause. However, there is no guarantee that everyone will find a suitable match. May Allah (SWT) grant all of us patience and the ability to do our best!
